MARCUS GARVEY MEMORIAL PARK
Marcus Garvey, a Jamaican-born Black nationalist and leader of the Pan-Africanism movement, sought to unify and connect people of African descent worldwide. The Pan-Africanism movement was dedicated to establishing independence for African nations and cultivating unity among black people throughout the world.
The Marcus Garvey Memorial Park is perfect for unifying Black culture worldwide. In the heart of New York City, this location perfectly encapsulates our goal of Black celebration in the place where we remember an important Black nationalist paving the way for future communities. We hope to honor Marcus Garvey in this important historical Black location while providing an outlet for Black art appreciation.
